Construction Manager – Northern California

RiverRock Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced construction manager with a MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS experience in commercial tenant improvement construction. Experience in capital improvements (HVAC, site work, roofing, etc) preferred. Successful candidate will have experience in office, retail and industrial construction management. Please attach a list of projects to support your work experience in these areas including capital improvements. Proficient in Excel, Word, and MS Project a must. Familiarity with architectural drawings also relied upon. Position offers a competitive salary, benefits, 3 weeks’ vacation and bonus potential all within a great company.   • Oversee multiple construction projects
  • Work closely with owners, engineers and architects
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with approved plans and lease requirements
  • Develop the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time, required to meet deadlines
  • Understand all aspects of assigned project including Lease, Work Letter, Schedule and Budgets
  • Ensure that professionalism is maintained by the implementation team at all times
  • Provide progress updates to Property Managers, Asset Managers, and Supervisor. Consult with them on any possible changes within 24 hours
  • Responsible for adjustments to the implementation plan, as necessary, to ensure project’s targets are met
  • Direct contractors and conduct field inspections to ensure building standards are being followed
  • Ensure that all company and customer emails are read and responded to in less than 24 hours
  • Assist in the development of processes to save time and improve project efficiencies
  • Complete all documentation needed for proposals/budgets in a timely and professional manner. Communicate effectively on daily basis with the Property and Asset Manager
  • Schedule and direct regular meetings with team to provide overall job progress and to promote job efficiencies
  • Responsible for the communications needed for all construction related issues.  Attend any on site meetings required by client
  • Enforce safety measures and all company safety regulations
