With more than 24 years of experience, Ken Kruis is a financial management professional with an emphasis in real estate. Ken has a successful track record of delivering accounting and financial solutions, driving profitability, controlling costs and enhancing efficiency. In his position, Ken is responsible for all corporate accounting, financial planning & analysis, and financial management for RiverRock.
Prior to joining RiverRock, Ken was Assistant Controller at Western National Group, where he was responsible for monthly financial reporting of a $130 million real estate portfolio. This portfolio was comprised of more than 90 projects with a total of 174 properties.
Ken’s experience includes working as Assistant Controller for Donahue Schriber, a national property management company. He was a Senior Accountant with Insignia/ESG, a national property management company, where he was responsible for preparing monthly investor reports and financial statements for The Irvine Company (TIC), a multi-billion dollar owner/developer of more than 130 commercial properties. Ken also served as a Portfolio Accountant for Legacy Partners (formerly Lincoln Property Company) in Irvine, California. Prior to that, Ken was a member of the United States Air Force, where he held the positions of Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable Supervisor and Accounts Payable Lead, stationed in Los Angeles and Saudi Arabia.
Ken earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from Pepperdine University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with an emphasis in real estate finance from California State University, Fullerton.
