Health and Wellness has always been an important focus of the commercial real estate industry but it took on even greater emphasis during the COVID pandemic. To address new concerns and regulations, RiverRock created and implemented a wide range of enhanced safety protocols, building management practices and communication standards across our managed portfolio.

Then we did more.

RiverRock became one of the first commercial real estate firms to achieve Fitwel Viral Response Certification, with Distinction. This certification validates and recognizes responsive management practices as well as health and safety practices for our staff. We then assisted many of our managed assets to achieve this certification, allowing them to publicly demonstrate their health and safety protocols as well.

Further, RiverRock applied for and achieved a Fitwel Asset level certification on our new corporate headquarters. This certification recognizes a number of physical aspects of the building, environmentally sensitive management policies, and employee focused practices.
