Jan Church is Regional Vice President, Los Angeles at RiverRock Real Estate Group. Jan brings over 20 years of diversified and progressive commercial property management to the RiverRock team.
As Regional Vice President, Jan is responsible for all property management and operational activities for a diverse portfolio comprised of Class A high-rise, varying classes of mid-rise and low-rise campus office, industrial, mixed-use, and retail assets located in Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Prior to joining RiverRock, Jan spent nearly seven years with Hines serving most recently as Senior Regional Facilities Manager, West Region on the Amazon account, encompassing class A office space of approximately 30 sites, 4.5 million square feet. In this role, she worked with Amazon’s regional leaders and led the facilities management teams responsible for delivering best in class service, budgeting, financial reporting and vendor contract and lease administration oversight. In addition to her work with Hines, Jan served as a Senior Property Manager with CBRE and Senior Property Manager with Smith, Hricik & Munselle Management Company.
Jan has developed lasting relationships with her clients over the years through trust, communication and consistent delivery on all fronts to both the client and customers. She also has a knack for bringing out the best in others resulting in high performing, skilled and committed team members.
Active in the property management industry, Jan is currently Vice President of Finance on the IREM Greater LA Chapter Executive Council. She has long been active in IREM having held roles including Vice President of Communications and Vice President of Administration. Jan received the 2017 CPM® of the Year Award and she holds the Certified Property Manager® (CPM) designation. Also active in BOMA GLA for many years serving on various committees such as the TOBY Committee which she previously co-chaired, Awards of Excellence Committee, Government Affairs Committee and the Forecast Breakfast Committee. Jan was a mentor for the up-and-coming property managers through BOMA GLA’s Emerging Leaders program. She holds the BOMA Real Property Administrator® (RPA) and Facilities Managers Administrator® (FMA) designations, and currently holds a real estate license in California.
