We are pleased to announce that Property Manager Janne Cordova from our Home Office in Newport Beach has been named one of Bisnow’s Orange County Power Women.
Cordova will be honored on August 21 during Bisnow’s inaugural Orange County Power Women Awards as part of the media firm’s Power Women Series, held annually in many markets across the U.S. She will be one of 30 honorees recognized including women in commercial real estate who are leaders in their fields, made an impact in their career and the industry, as well as those who are trailblazers and educators for the next generation.
Cordova joined RiverRock in 2017. She is involved in the portfolio management of office, medical, and industrial use assets in Orange County. She brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate and financial services experience to the team, holding positions as property manager, associate vice president in REIT investment sales, and underwriter. Her management experience includes over eight years of hands-on, commercial experience, working closely with various construction, asset management, acquisitions, and brokerage teams. Well-versed in the operations and financial management of commercial assets, in aggregate, her experience includes more than 25 industrial, office, and medical properties totaling more than 3 million square feet, the management of over 50 capital improvement projects, and training for more than 24 portfolio staff members.
“Janne stands out for her high level of customer service. She is the embodiment of RiverRock’s commitment to provide superior management services by being exceptional in all she does, earning the highest level of confidence from every client she works with. She also truly cares about helping others succeed in their careers. Thank you to Bisnow for recognizing her work in the industry,” said RiverRock Real Estate Group Founder and Principal John Combs.
Mentoring up and coming professionals is of key importance to Cordova. An advocate for continuing education in commercial real estate, Cordova has served on several BOMA Orange County committees, including positions as chairperson and interim director of Industry Programs. She also recently served as leader of the Nominations Committee for CREW Orange County’s 2019 Spire Awards, an organization committed to furthering the career of women in real estate.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be included in this amazing group of
honorees. This recognition is exciting and I look forward to celebrating with
some of the most powerful women in Orange County real estate,” shared Cordova.
