Kathy Valentine is Vice President Human Resources at RiverRock Real Estate Group. She joined RiverRock in 2007 and developed programs to meet the growing HR needs as RiverRock grew from 30 employees to its current 120 employee base. She currently is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable RiverRock to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce.
Kathy specializes in talent management, staffing, employee benefits, learning and development. While at RiverRock she has been instrumental in developing and implementing RiverRock’s on-boarding, wellness, and employee recognition and engagement programs.
Kathy has 25 years of human resources experience and has worked in a variety of industries. Prior to joining RiverRock, Kathy was Human Resources Manager for Home Loan Funding where she was responsible for all human resource functions as well as having oversight for the health plans and other benefits. She also oversaw the implementation of security protocols that included background checks and biometric controls to limit access to customer information.
Kathy attended California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and University California Irvine.
