The team behind the innovative new RREG headquarters in Irvine was honored with Office Project of the Year for its work to completely reimagine the 20,000-square-foot freestanding space acquired by RREG for its new forever home. The award recognized the design meant to convey a physical manifestation of the RREG brand and culture.
NAIOP SoCal held its first annual Awards Gala on May 12 at the Westin in Anaheim to honor the best in Southern California commercial real estate.
Led by LPA Design Studios, the project team included RREG, Driver SPG, GM Business Interiors, and Feng Hui for Architecture. The project scope mostly concentrated on the interior spaces but also involved the redesign of the landscape, an outdoor collaborative space and minor architectural and exterior lighting changes.
“The path to finding the right location and then bringing about our vision to make not just a workplace but a home for our RockStars was a very special milestone for RREG. Now to be recognized by a leading real estate association adds to the importance of this new project,” said John Combs, founder, RREG.
In addition to winning Office Project of the Year, RREG was honored as a finalist in the Diversity and Inclusion category.
